Good to know

Check which ports your own laptop supports before ordering, as video output over USB C depends on the host port rather than the hub. Hubs draw their power from the laptop unless they have their own supply, so heavy use of several ports at once will drain the battery faster.

Safety

Use only cables and power supplies intended for your device. Leave the hub uncovered so it can shed heat, as docking stations become warm in normal use. Keep it dry, and unplug it if it becomes unusually hot or if a cable or connector is damaged.
